Yuri Tremler

Yuri Tremler was born in the Ukraine in 1961. He studied in an art and design school in Russia and Germany.In 1996  Yuri Tremler emigrated to Israel and began working as a jewlry designer. Eventually he focused exclusively on oil painting.

Yuri Tremler's subjects range from Abstract to expressionistic figurtative pieces like you see here. Although his cafe and bar scenes are painted with a pallete knife, his figures maintain a soft edge and the canvas has smooth, flowing composition.

The combination of color and form in Yuri Tremler's paintings , give it a relaxed elegance that has made him very succesful both in Israel and in the US.
