Dim Yuz (DiMITRY YUZEFOVICH)
Born in 1974
The interest in painting had surfaced very early in Dmitry’s life and at the tender age of eleven he was accepted to ‘The Academy for the arts’ in his homeland of Ukraine.
In 1991 as Dmitry turned seventeen he immigrated to Israel with his family.
After completing his army duties with the I.D.F attended ‘The visual arts academy’ in Beer Sheva and the renowned ‘Bezalel academy of the arts and design’, where he won many awards and accolades for his academic and artistic achievements.
Dmitry’s artistic ability is multi faceted: painting, sculpturing, positioning, and video art. In his colorful paintings one can see the search for calling and style.
Dmitry mastered many techniques and his enormous talent is obvious in his work.
He elegantly and effortlessly moves between the different mediums and creates great work in all of them: Landscape (both real and imaginary), Portraits, Objects, Still life and Fantasies.
Even though he is very powerful in the classical style his surrealist work is both eloquent and expressive showing his vivid imagination.
